City of Derby NUT members post a communal 'selfie' for Simon at last Friday's AGM.
The 145th AGM of City of Derby NUT was a great night with a National President, Philipa Harvey, speaking about the need to fight the government cuts to school budgets and take back education from the Ofsted tick box brigade! Members heard of the suspension of the NUT Rep at Small Heath School in Birmingham, Simon O'Hara. Simon was suspended on spurious grounds so he could not lead the strikes against academisation - a direct attack on trade union organisation which cannot be allowed to stand.
