Magnificent

The joint NUT / NASUWT picket at Sinfin Community School this morning had a magnificent 50 people on it.  Supporters joined us from the PCS and UCU as well as the Indian Workers Association which represents a number of parents of children at the school.  There was a drive-by by teachers from Littleover Community School at 7.30am which set the tone for the rest of the morning.  Tremendous support came from other drivers passing by who beeped and waved at the pickets.  The unions are taking action over Michael Gove's attempt to force Sinfin to become a sponsored academy and will be on the picket lines again tomorrow - why not come and show your solidarity.
