Make Your Voice Heard

It may be a brand new term but the goblin Gove is still intent on attacking teachers' pay, pensions and conditions and taking our curriculum and practice back to the 19th century.  Teachers face the fight of our lives to defend our profession and the very future of education in this country.  The NUT and NASUWT will be taking joint strike action for a day in the week beginning 30th September (to coincide with the Tory Party Conference in Manchester) and here are some important events in the lead up to this:

Rally for Education
Nottingham - Saturday 14th September 11am - 12.30pm
Speakers: Kevin Courtney (NUT Deputy General Secretary) and Chris Keates (NASUWT General Secretary)
Crowne Plaza Hotel, Nottingham, Wollaton Street, NG1 5RH

March to the Rally sets off from Nottingham Market Square (in front of the lions) 10am
 
Derby Teachers meet at Derby Bus Station 9.15am to travel together on Red Arrow, keep your ticket and you will get your money back!
