TAs are facing swingeing cuts to their pay and terms and conditions across the city. This story has been in the news a lot recently but support staff aren't taking it lying down. This week they held an amazing rally outside a meeting of the cabinet at the Council House. It was loud, it was angry and it received whole-hearted support from passing motorists, whose honking horns added to the clamour demanding a fair deal for our hard-working support staff.
NUT members were proud to show solidarity at the demonstration and add our banner to the dozens of placards that made TAs' feelings very clear!
