Stand Up To Racism Conference an opportunity for anti-racist education

On Saturday 8th October, Stand Up To Racism organised a national conference in London. Over 1500 people attended the event.

Sue Arguile, Derby NUT Division Secretary was a delegate. She said "This was a really serious conference and a launchpad for wider anti-racism work. It has the potential to help teachers who want to raise the profile of anti-racist work within their schools, dealing as it did with issues such as the Dubs amendment to bring child refugees to safety in the UK, Black History Month in October and Islamophobia Awareness Month in November."
