We had a great stall on Saturday and want to do as much as we can to make education a key issue of this election. The NUT is not affiliated to any political party, but we want candidates to be clear: what will they do about the £3 billion that the current government plans to cut from school funding by 2020?
These cuts will be savage and they will adversely affect children's education across the country, so we want voters to ask questions and have education as the issue at the top of their list of priorities on June 8th.
We've made a great start, but we only have a few weeks to do even more. Will you come to our members meeting tomorrow night and help us?
