  • School Meetings - why we oppose academisation. We are organising meetings in as many of the primary schools currently facing academisation as possible. If you work in one of these schools but have not yet heard from us, please drop us a line at kieran.picken@neu.org.uk
  • Campaigning Against Academisation - How To Turn The Tide. Saturday 16th June. Open to members and non-members. We would love to send a delegation, please contact us to be a delegate!   • REFUGEE WEEK. On Wednesday 20th June we are co-hosting a showing alongside Stand Up To Racism of Calais Children: A Case To Answer. Find out about the cruel treatment of unaccompanied child refugees by the UK government, with this powerful documentary, followed by a Q&A with the director. QUAD, 7 pm.   • International Solidarity Meeting - our inaugural International Solidarity meeting will be in Nottingham on Friday 22nd June. Contact us for more details.
