Great Day at the Silk Mill Festival

This year's Silk Mill Festival was fab! We had new activists join us for the march and the opportunity to connect with the wider trades union and labour movement. There were great speakers, including from Extinction Rebellion, the Scrap Universal Credit campaign, Chris Williamson MP as well as UNISON AGS Roger McKenzie.

NEU members had a great time and spoke with many people about education issues as well as taking the opportunity to speak to other unions and campaigners - and the weather was fantastic!
