Motion Writing Workshop and Committee Meeting - 18th October

 "I have a great idea for the union, but I have no idea how to write a motion!" <-- is this you?

Don't worry, we are going to do a MOTION WRITING WORKSHOP at our next committee meeting, Friday 18th October, 4.30pm to 6.30 pm at the union office, DE23 6UQ.

Our next General Meeting on 8th November will be our chance to discuss and vote on motions to submit to Annual Conference. Motions passed at Conference determine union policy for the coming year!

This workshop on 18th October is aimed at those who would like to write a motion and want to make sure it gets a good hearing at the General Meeting on 8th November.

We will offer helpful advice, share ideas and hopefully collaborate to produce strong motions that will have an impact at Conference!

We will also have a short committee meeting to discuss any urgent matters and agenda for the next general meeting on 8th November.
