With today's Daily Mail headline, a reader's thoughts will naturally turn to what makes a hero. What is heroism?

I mean, you could say that being a newpaper editor is a heroic role. You have to make tough choices all the time, in the public interest. Let's say you've got a picture to go with your front page. It's too big, something needs to be photoshopped out. But who gets the chop? You need a heroic editor to make that choice.
It's one of those unanswerables. I suppose we will never know just what made them crop and photoshop those particular children out for their front page. I'm sure there were perfectly good, not at all racist reasons.
However, here's something I think I can answer. If this were a movie, how would I tell who the hero was? Here are two scenarios. In which of these is Jason Statham the hero?
Just something to think about. Have a good weekend, and stay safe and well everybody.
*Let's all remember that Jason Statham had a lockdown haircut before anyone else. Respect the Stath.

- Jason Statham* fights his way through serried ranks of teachers, support staff, doctors and epidemiologists to make sure that children spread a deadly virus throughout the entire population.
- Jason Statham joins a ragtag bunch of Ordinary Joes as they fight shadowy government figures and powerful corporate interests and their servants in the press to keep the country safe from a virus that said shadowy figures know will kill hundreds of thousands if it is released.
