Our first local rep training event was a big success!
Reps are entitled to paid release for training, and we want local reps to have the opportunity to increase their knowledge and skills - so we've set up the first of what will hopefully be regular training events to cover areas that reps told us they could do with knowing more about.
We were fortunate to have some great speakers leading the sessions, including Daniel Kebede, the NEU General Secretary, who led a briefing on the upcoming NATIONAL BALLOT over PAY and FUNDING in education - look out for more about this soon and MAKE SURE A MEETING IS HELD IN YOUR SCHOOL ABOUT THE BALLOT!
